"The owner went out of his way to accommodate us and was super nice. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and stocked up. There was plenty of parking available. The air conditioner worked perfect. We stayed 7 days and would have stayed longer but had to get home for work. Will definitely stay there again. McDonald's was next door for a quick bite."

"Located in a quiet neighborhood and nestled in the woods. it reminded me of a futuristic cabin in a Star Wars movie. a unique rental experience. the host left useful things in the house. every possible thing that you would need for a short stay was there. the paid for netflix and streaming TV was a plus. charming decor that you don't find in many other places. definitely had a unique character. Stayed here while visting friends that live in the Tyler area. a great retreat from a busy city life. the only complaint was that in the listing i thought for some reason it was next to a lake but the property is actually in a subdivision next to Lake Palestine. Great price for the rental. Communication with the host was excellent."

"The view is beautiful! Nothing like waking up, watching the sun shimmering on the lake while drinking coffee. Beautiful home, plenty of space, and comfortable all around. The host responded quickly when we had questions, and the welcome folder had plenty of recommendations for local food, boat rentals, etc. I would recommend 1836 Texas Kitchen for dinner, we ate there both nights!"
