Welcome to SEA LA VIE your beachfront pedestrian only beach property. Life at the beach in your newly and beautifully renovated home is as relaxing as the refreshing sea breeze. Watch the beautiful scenery as the run rises, sets, and accents the clouds with endless colors. Enjoy the sun and a drink of your choice from your spacious two-level beach facing balconies.

As the sun rises make your way down the stairs and right onto the pedestrian only beach where you can enjoy surfing, swimming, sunbathing, sandcastle construction, among a myriad of beach games and activities. Relax, the children can play at ease, as no vehicles are allowed on your beach. If you wish, take a short stroll down the beach to the jetty park where there is fishing, a children's playground, and splash park.

Your spectacular home on Surfside Beach has direct beach access. No one enjoys having to carry and drag through the sand all the beach necessities when spending the day at the beach. It gets better, your home comes fully equipped with beach towels, collapsible chairs, sand toys, a picnic table, and almost any other imaginable need. Enjoy the added amenities which include outdoor hot and cold shower, plenty of entertaining area under the house, BBQ grill, patio furniture and dining space on the upper deck.

Your house is better equipped than any resort with high-speed Wi-Fi, high-definition TVs in every room (including two 65” TVs), cable TV, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and Prime TV. At night, you can enjoy the star sprinkled sky as the children pick their spots on their stair-equipped bunk beds and lay to rest (they will be tired). Beautiful home and loved the layout. Home was furnished sufficiently, especially the kitchen. Stunning beachfront and enjoyed watching ships come and go and all the fishermen. Will definitely consider this home again next year.

We loved the location and the house itself. We were there to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and we all loved it. It was perfect for our family. We had a minor issue with the A/C but we were able to deal with it. Would recommend this place!Do note: the stairs are pretty difficult for older folks

Great location

This home was right on the beach. And was perfect for a family with 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 2-6). The need to bring our own drinking water was communicated early on… and we understood that when we had arrived - there was an obvious odor to the shower and tap water, but it was a minimal inconvenience. Especially since the location was perfect!

Spring Break with Toddlers to Teens

Sea La Vie was the perfect place for our bio kids and foster kids to relax, play together, and spend some time bonding. The location was perfect for all ages and the beach was beautiful! We’re thankful for an amazing first trip as a family of 9.

Spring Break

Took our daughters, son and a few of their friends for spring break! The house is wonderful! The access to the beach is incredible! We had no trouble with parking. Very close proximity to a parking lot if needed. We enjoyed is so much.

Quick trip to Surfside

My husband, son, girlfriend and I had a nice stay at Surfside. Great location for us. We visited Space Center Houston, golfed at Wilderness course in Lake Jackson, fished out of Galveston and had a delightful day birding at Brazoria nature refuge.

Perfect Getaway!

Perfect weekend getaway! The house is perfect inside and out. Inside, our kids loved the bunks and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and lounging around. Great views and the easiest access to the beach you could ask for. Feels like a private access. We had morning coffee on the patio and then we were able to set up our spot with our beach tents and chairs early in the morning so we had our house and beach front laid out for the whole day. Mom who is a little older was able to watch us from the patio and enjoy the scenery. She loved it. My sister's little boys (5 & 6 yrs) were able to get breaks throughout the day from the beach. We did some surf fishing and we walked right on over to Surfside jetty. We caught trout and whiting! We even had enough room to setup volleyball! It was a great stay and we hope to do it again!

Has everything you need

Right on the beach, has plenty of beach toys for the 6 kids in the group. Beautiful view of the stars and able to see all the large ships coming into port without any noise.

Family vacation

This house is absolutely the perfect spot on the beach. it was the perfect size for three sets of family ranging from adult (6 adults) to seven months old (4 kids). The kids absolutely loved the bunkbed. And it created a fun place for them to play and watch TV. The property owners provided tons of games to play, and all TVs were smart TVs. We enjoyed sitting outside on the huge porch and daily walks on the beach. also, the house is super close to the jetty so adults and kids both enjoyed watching the big ships come in and out.

Great place and location

We had a great time! The weather was perfect! The location was perfect! The house was perfect! The hard part was not being able to drink and cook with the tap water but we made it work by filling up water jugs from down the road. It was super cool watching the big cargo ships coming in and out of the jetty. Our grandsons loved watching them. Being able to walk to the jetty for fishing and the newly constructed playground was awesome. Being right on the beach was awesome, too! When the wind wasn’t blowing there were a lot of bugs but luckily the wind was blowing most of the time. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect except the check-in where the lock-box was not at the place indicated. In addition, one of the balcony doors could not be opened and a handyman was needed to fix the problem.

Beachfront Getaway

The property was better than what we expected. We could literally walk from the staircase straight to the beach and it was a short walk over to the playground, which our 3 year old really enjoyed. It would’ve been nice to have the lift that a lot of the other properties had but we managed. The bathtime for the children was cut short every night due to the yellow water but we were aware of the issue before we arrived and it is of no fault of the owner. Overall, we made a lot of great memories and everyone loved the trip.

Made the best of it!

Our stay at the Sea La Vie was great. We booked to stay for five days. Got there Monday June 17th & the next day we were told the beach was closed due to a tropical storm coming in. It was a bit rough due to the wind & water under the house. But the owner Kimber made sure to stay in touch with us throughout the whole time. Absolutely loved that. We were able to go out the last couple of days which was great. The house was clean & very well kept. The location was fantastic. Other than the tropical storm effecting our stay a bit, it was great! We definitely made the best of it. The games & cable definitely helped. Will definitely be staying at the Sea La Vie again.

Second stay

Beautiful location on pedestrian beach , very nice accommodation, very responsive property manager , unfortunately no fireworks visible from deck but none were advertised, now to the only real downside …parking …second year in a row stuck in the sand , had to unload , get pulled out and park in the public lot a five minute walk away . Properties next door had equipment there working to remove sand from recent storm …very inconvenient to have to deal with this issue two yrs in a row …last year there was no storm , owners need to invest in fixing this !!
