"My stay at Westgate Resorts had both positives and areas for improvement. The resort itself is beautiful, very clean. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment, pool area, and water park. However, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and it was concerning to hear rooms might not be ready despite the 4:00 PM check-in time. There is no housekeeping and we had to call twice for towels. We dined at two restaurants on the property. At Amigos, the staff was friendly; however, the food quality did not meet expectations. In contrast, the food at Sid’s restaurant was very good, although the overall dining experience was impacted by slow and somewhat disorganized service. Despite the restaurant being approximately 75% empty, the wait time was around 45 minutes, and the staff did not appear particularly welcoming. On our third day, the power in our room went out. Maintenance addressed the issue promptly the following day, which we appreciated. Had we known the circuit breaker panel was located behind the mirror, the issue may have been resolved sooner. My main concern was the 10:00 AM checkout time, which feels unusually early. Extending checkout to 11:00 AM would significantly improve the guest experience. While I understand the operational need to prepare rooms for incoming guests, the current checkout policy can make departing guests feel rushed. Overall, property is beautiful improvement in customer service and hospitality would enhance guest experience."

"Other than Ernesto, this place was a complete disappointment. Ernesto was the only good thing about the entire resort he was incredibly kind and literally helped take us from the pool all the way to our room because it felt like we had to walk three miles just to get there. He actually cared about guests, unlike the rest of the experience. The bar that was supposedly open served the worst margarita I’ve ever had. It was overloaded with sugar, completely undrinkable, and the tequila tasted watered down just like most of the alcohol there $10-17 drinks deserve to taste better than that! The room looked nothing like the pictures we were shown when booking. Instead of a nice resort, it felt like a poorly remodeled Motel 6, it honestly felt like we were shoved into one of the worst rooms possible. The kitchen supplies were extremely limited, with barely any pots, pans, or basic necessities. On top of that, the bed was hard as a rock and unbelievably uncomfortable. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. Ernesto deserves better than this place because he was the only person who made the experience tolerable."

"Overall, our stay was good. Hotel looks older on the outside and in the stairwell/hallways. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms so the entire room was brand new, from carpet to bathroom, which was really nice! Beds were comfortable, but the pillows were smaller than we are used to. Not saying that would deter me from staying there again - simply mentioning. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast area lacked seating so we had to eat in our car. The general location of the hotel was surrounded by high end apartments, commercial industries and lower income housing."

"Very disappointed. We have stayed in the 2 bedrsuite 8 times andoved it. This time our room was not ready at 4:00. Manager said it would take another hour. At 5:00 it was still not ready. Not even an apology. We left and got 2 rooms in a beautiful Hampton Inn for less money. I will not be coming back."

"Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. Several amenities advertised by the hotel were closed, including the pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked this property. This was not clearly communicated ahead of time.The cleanliness was also below expectations. The room did not appear properly maintained, and housekeeping did not clean the room daily during our stay."
