The internet is an issue in the area - our property has alot if trees so it does impact the internet (we do have a booster installed) my understanding is that the tower is on the other side of the Lake so internet is interrupted by weather and trees. My apologies about the internet, the password is in the "red information book" I have now made this more visible for guests, however the connection is a little sketchy as we are surrounded by trees so the only fix for this is to cut them down until there is a better solution as a whole for the area. Unfortunately your stay coincided with a heat wave and the abnormal for Lake Ferry - no breeze or wind. Pleased you enjoyed the fishing and the convenience of being able to bring your dog.

Thank you for your review Lynette and pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay. It is always helpful to get positive recommendations to improve our business. We also try really hard to keep our nightly rate at a price that is affordable to all, hence why we do provide ie: salt/pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and canola spray oil. In the bathroom we do provide, soap and hand soap, unfortunately you may not have seen the shower soap under the vanity. If we where to provide every option available in condiments this may affect our night rate. In regards to providing milk for your cuppa we are more than happy to provide this and we normally ask our guest on arrival if they require milk our apologies in your case we may have missed that question. There is a general store 5 minutes before Lake Ferry in the Pirinoa Village, which we do support and like to encourage our guests to utilise. IIn regards to the "couples" question - I am sorry if you felt offended that we assumed you were a couple. However we will never ask the question of our quests around where they wish to sleep or the status of their relationship, we would be totally reliant on the guests requesting this at the point of booking whether they required the bed and the sofa bed or otherwise we are quite happy that on arrival you just sleep where you want to. We are always available to provide anything that makes your stay more comfortable as in your case requesting a compost bin. Once again thank you for your comments/recommendations.

Thanks for your review. I’m sorry about the limited internet /wi-fi coverage unfortunately a sacrifice we have to make living remotely and also surrounded by park like trees. Although you can get coverage in the reserve next door. Hope overall you enjoyed your holiday.
