"Very friendly owner, clean and quiet room. The owner obviously takes pride in his motel. It has an interesting history that he shared with us. It was not a super fancy place. Just a nice, comfortable and affordable motel not too far from our daughter’s college. "

"Pleasant and quiet cottage on a bluff overlooking Lake Erie. Nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable. We spent six nights: enjoyed reading and relaxing while looking out over the lake. We will stay again the next time we visit family in the area. "
"We just enjoyed another annual Fall trip with dear friends in the best spot on Lake Erie! The cabin was clean and cozy and everything we could ask for. Dave is a great host! We walk the beach, fish the creek, take drives to all the local shops and have dinner in our favorite places and mostly just enjoy catching up in a beautiful, secluded, quiet little paradise … inside the comfy cabin, on the great front porch or around a great fire watching incredible Lake Erie sunsets. Thank you! See you next time! We are already booked ;)"
"Upon arrival there was no one at the desk , but the keys to our room were there with our names clearly on them. A phone next to the counter with a sign says pick up if you have any questions. So I did, person answering said we were all set. Room were clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers "
"My husband and I just got married over the weekend and wanted to wait until next year to take a big tropical honeymoon. We still wanted to find a place to go to immediately after our wedding that wasn't too far from Pittsburgh and spend some alone time together. I came across this listing and it sounded perfect. I had only heard good things about Lake Chautauqua and it is just as beautiful in person. This cottage is small, but perfect for 2 people. It does have a sloped ceiling which makes some spots difficult for tall people so you do have to watch your head. It is a great price for a place on the water's edge. We enjoyed the view from the dock and having a fire down by the lakeside. There are some great restaurants nearby also. We also visited Barcelona beach in Erie. "
