"Entire lodge was spotless and everything was there we needed. Only issue was the noise. And probably this was due to other guests not being considerate. Our bedroom was below TV room. Noise from TV. People dropping things and talking was easily heard. The worse thing was banging doors when guest went in and out. One guest put an object in door entrance to keep door from closing and chatted on mobile ph. It was very noisy when guests opened or closed bedroom doors and lodge entrance doors. ...

"This hotel is in a prime location in Arthurs Pass National park near many trailheads as well as the village. Room was large and clean, with super view on the balcony. Our only complaint was lack of a microwave and signs saying that cooking in room is not allowed, and minimal kitchen dishes etc even though the room was advertised as having a kitchenette. There is a good hotel restaurant and they obviously want you to eat there. The breakfast buffet is an average continental breakfast. "
