It includes a queen bed, a sofa bed, a full private bathroom, and a compact kitchenette equipped for simple meals and essentials.

One of the standout features is the large, spa-like shower, which guests consistently love after long days on the trails.

What really sets this property apart is the location and access. You have direct drive-in / drive-out access to the Alpine Loop, including seasonal OHV access- making it incredibly easy to head straight into some of Colorado’s most iconic high-country terrain. *Be sure to check local laws!* From here, you’re also just minutes from downtown Lake City (about 1/2 mile away), with the ability to walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.

Whether you’re here to ride, explore, fish, or simply unwind, the Cottage puts you right in the middle of it all while still offering a quiet place to return to.

Outside, you’ll find a large, spacious driveway with ample room for trucks, trailers, and all your gear or toys; no tight parking or maneuvering required.

The Cottage Is Best For:
Singles or couples looking for a simple, affordable getaway for 1–3 nights. Longer stays can work well if you plan to eat most meals out. For extended stays, we recommend a mid-stay cleaning and linen refresh.

The Cottage Is Not Ideal For:
Weeklong family vacations where the sofa bed needs to be folded up and put away daily, or groups planning to cook most of their meals. The kitchenette is functional for basic meal prep, but it isn’t designed for frequent or extensive cooking.
