This property is a historic cabin located just a block from downtown Lake City and sits back from the main road going through Lake City. This cabin has been completely remodeled with great extra touches and nice finishes. There is a king bed and a queen sized futon...they are in the same room as this cabin is just a one room cabin with the bedroom serving as both the bedroom and living room. There is a seperate kitchen/dining area as well as a bathroom with shower. There is a gas grill as well as a gas fireplace out on the great deck to enjoy your evenings after a fun day in the beautiful outdoors of the Lake City area. Make your reservations today!

Very well outfitted cabin. Updates to this older cabin are really good and well decorated. Very convenient to walk the town and parking right outside the door. Bed is very comfortable and kitchen equipment and dishes very good. Used the outdoor grill which was good. Firepit also on deck. Loved it all!

Nice place to stay

The Rocky Rose was the perfect place to stay. Cozy and clean. Location was great. In town, but nice and quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Alpine Loop Cabin

Charming little cabin, it was cozy and inviting. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Only a couple of blocks to the Alpine Loop trailhead. Would definitely stay there again!

Rocky Rose Adventure

The cabin is adorable. The bed alone is reason enough to never leave. Loved the decor and kitchen fridge. Rain prevented patio cocktails and snacks. It’s cozy and romantic with the right person (No offense Grace ) 😘🐶👍

Cozy comfy and cool!

Rocky Rose is a special little cabin that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Well-equipped with everything we needed. The cabin stayed cool during the day and the deck was a pleasure to relax on. It was great to get out of the heat from our home city and enjoy all that Lake City has to offer. Everything was just right at Rocky Rose.

Rocky Rose Cabin - Lake City, CO

This is the cutest little cabin ever! We felt very comfortable with the accommodations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and also used the grill outside. Everything looked very clean. It’s located just a block (or so) from the Alpine Loop where we took the Jeep/OHV trails. Loved Lake City and would love to come back.

Mountain Adventure

We jeeped in the High Country kyaked on Lake Crystabule. Hiked 5 waterfalls. Did Ghost Tour. Ate at wonderful restaurants with our golden doodle at every fun filled minute. Our grand daughters won at the commuity bingo and cann't stop talking about the trip with the nightly smores on the pattio at the cabin over the really nice propane fire pit. We are planning on doing it again.

Private, Walkable Neighborhood, Great Mid-Century Vibe

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy of sitting on the front porch in the evenings. If you like to eat out, there are multiple places within easy walking distance. Cool mid-century furnishings. If you plan to keep lot’s of frozen foods on hand, be aware the freezer in the 50’s Frigidaire is very small. Otherwise, the kitchen had the basics needed to make our meals. We would definitely stay here again!

We came for our honeymoon

The cabin was cute it was clean and had everything we needed but the town is sooo small that if you need to get food you need to go shopping in the maybe 1 or 2 stores there before EVERYTHING closes at 7pm or you wont eat we had a little problem at first with the outdoor fire pit but it was temperature controlled so if it got too hot it would turn off which was annoying our truck broke down while we were there and there is only 1 mechanic in the whole town and he WAY over charged us but we didn't have a choice its really beautiful there but unless your really outdoorsy there isn't much to do and its not cheap to do much we went to the lake and it was still too cold to go in and we had to drive WAY out of the way to go shooting overall it was really pretty and peaceful but not much to do if you have allergies and asthma like i do so i cant go hiking we didn't have the gear to go fishing and i didn't know how and it took FOREVER to get there it is literally the most rural county in the lower 48 states that is what the souvenir lady told us we liked it but we're used to the city after a few days we wanted to come back home but it was a beautiful place
