Bunkhouse Farm Stay

Bring the kids, visit the beautiful Florida Springs, and enjoy staying in a peaceful, cozy farm bunkhouse. Have a rest on the front porch rocking chairs or enjoy connecting with farm way of life while relaxing in the barn themed living room. This renovated goat barn boasts of exposed beams, tin ceilings and chic farm decor. While staying with us you can enjoy visiting with the animals, maybe meet our 2 newest babies and gather some fresh eggs for your breakfast! We are located at a very central area to many parks and springs. We’re also located about 40 minutes from the University of Florida, so come for a game, but stay out of the hustle and bustle of Gainesville. We are located approximately 10 minutes off Interstate 75 and less than 10 minutes from the All-Tech Racetrack so if you are just passing through we are a good 2 night option for weary travelers or a race fan who wants a little distance from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. Couples needing a weekend getaway have enjoyed the comfy cabin feel and the local “rural Florida” exploration.

Freedom day stay at a farm

Great secluded country setting. Plenty of room and very comfortable for 4 adults.Was perfect for our needs.Host was very gracious and accommodating!Note that the driveway is not paved and farm animals are nearby.Expect we will return for future stays as it is very handy for visiting several state parks.

Amazing stay

We loved our time spent here, the house was clean and the farm was beautiful. The owner came and welcomed us the morning after we arrived and brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. The house is stocked with anything you need and is 20ish minutes from the springs.

The Cutest Bunkhouse Ever!

Clean & Quiet Place

The Bunkhouse is absolutely wonderful to stay in. This was our fourth visit here, we love it! It's so clean and they provide everything that you can imagine for your cooking needs. It's also very quiet there and quite peaceful. We look forward to our next stay there!

We loved this place . It is very clean , safe & quite . We especially liked Fanta the orange cat ! The host was very helpful , and responded to our requests immediately. Check in was great Hope to come back and stay longer next time .

Most Excellent! Everything you need!

What a wonderful place on every level! Every single thing you could have possibly needed plus more! We were refuges from Hurricane Milton so had to evacuate and they were kind, helpful and allowed a couple extra nights. The farm is gorgeous! The house was great, clean and comfy! Thank you!

Hidden getaway

Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book this. Very reasonable too.

Very nice property. Posted pics don’t do it justice. Spent the evenings in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever stayed at. Love it! Hope to stay here again soon.

Lovely Country Getaway

My husband and celebrated our anniversary by staying at this charming rental. The property was beautiful, clean, unique, comfortable and well stocked. The proximity to the horses and farm cars made it all the more enjoyable. The host gave us fresh eggs for breakfast and the hostess checked in on us twice. Highly recommend.

Weekend at the Bunk House

What a wonderful place. The Bunk house is absolutely adorable. Super clean and accommodating. The host(s) were attentive and responsive. We meet three friendly outside cats and a wonderful horse. The Bunk House is a hidden treasure. Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent Accommodations

Our stay at the Bunk House was a perfect location to go explore the “real Florida”, near several springs. House is comfortable and clean. Plenty of room to stay. Horses, chicken and house kitty were all added bonuses. Self serve firewood shops close by- don’t miss out on using the fire pit and stargazing.

Great break from the city

Very quiet and peaceful. We spent some of the day at Blue Springs, which is only 20 minutes away. There was a fence very close to the property where horses came right up close. That's a cool experience for a city kid, my daughter loved it.

Family trip to the springs

We booked this trip to celebrate our daughter’s 5th birthday. We fit 4 adults and two kids (5 and 8) comfortably. The location is perfect and 10 minutes from the springs. The horses, animals and ropes course were a hit and kept our kids busy. They also had two horseback riding lessons and loved it. We will definitely be back.
