"This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

"Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. "This rental home makes it feel like home. Everything we needed was provided. Easy checkin and communication with the owner, Jeff, was quick and pleasant. Loved the babbling stream in the back yard. My biggest complaint was the wifi dropping in and out (which is huge considering the limited cell coverage area), water had a funny smell (but i think it area related), and if your fat like me, getting over the rail to get out the bed is an issue (but my athletic 13-year-old also complained on that matter).
