"The hotel is in a beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside on the edge of town. I could only hear birds and insects. The room was comfortable and very clean as was the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and most of the cakes, biscuits and jams were homemade. There were cold cuts and cheese and we were offered bacon and eggs if we wanted them. It is well-placed to visit interesting and pretty places nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Very clean, very tidy, professional staff. Had quite an attractive quality 50s vibe to the styling of the hotel, but the room was up to speed on comfort and modern needs. Lovely little balcony.Although on a main road the double glazing was excellent and we both slept very well. One thing, an extractor fan in the bathroom is essential!
