"The owners were exceptionally polite. The beds were so very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were terrific. We felt very welcome. There was a little language barrier but using translator with them worked perfectly. We wanted to see the real parts of Spain, this was the adventure we wanted. I recommend renting car and travel the differ cities. This hotel is definitely a 10."

"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

"We spent two nights at La Covacha in July and it was an excellent Casa Rural. The owner greeted us and she gave us a lot of good information and amongst other things good directions for two walking trips with fantastic bathing opportunities in the Gargantas. The pool was nice and so was the mini pond with frogs. The large room was clean and breakfast was good as well."

"This is a pleasant hotel conveniently located for walking into the scenic center of La Alberca. Staff are helpful and a very nice breakfast is offered at an additional cost. Due to the location, parking is a bit difficult."

We know this hotel well and they know us.Wonderful situation next to the main north-south motorway in Hervas.The staff are fantastic and will do anything to help their guests. The food is excellent and great value. The company is constantly upgrading and it is no wonder that Roma is so popular Brian and Sally Smith"
