"The place was clean and felt very cosy. It was clearly newly refurbished and was clean. The beds were not too great though. In one of the bedrooms the wooden boards under the mattress were loose and had to put back in place. That is when it became clear they had better all be replaced. The sheets were made of synthetic fibers instead of cotton. And the place is above a fish shop. The owners have done all they can to repel the smell, but there is no escaping it when you enter. "The apartment was cute, well-equipped and very 'oldy-worldy', and right in the heart of the City Centre. Despite it being a very hot summer the host, Didier, had gone to a lot of trouble ensuring the apartment had lots of fans and an air-cooler, which was very welcome. For those arriving by car, park in the 14 Juillet Car Park P2 rather than P1 (like us!) as it's much closer to the property. Thanks, Didier, for a great stay!"

"Alles war sauber, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Eine gute Beschreibung für die Anreise und ein guter Parkplatz im Innenhof. "Oldish property reasonably well done inside. The apartment block in which it's located is 'tired'. The area surrounding being near the main railway station is also somewhat run down. Arriving in the dark with groups of youngsters hanging round on the street was intimidating (and my partner is originally from Troyes). Would not recommend."
