"I stayed at the Tenuta Torre Diana hotel for a couple of nights last weekend, using it as a base for travel to the Grand Prix. All of my expectations were blown away! The hotel is absolutely *gorgeous*, packed full of history and character. Every room I went in had its own story to tell. I had booked a room with a single bed, being on my own, but the manager had decided to upgrade my stay to one of their double rooms at no charge, which was hugely appreciated. "This is a most beautiful place for your stay in the centre of old Ravenna! It has a wonderful garden at the back with tall trees and flowers, sitting areas and birds flying about. Generous breakfast, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cereals, pastries etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, large rooms. Small number of rooms, family run. Within short walking distance of some of the major sites to see fabulous mosaics. We did not travel by car, but heard that there is parking available."
