This gated home is just one block from the heart of La Jolla Village, giving the family easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and two blocks from Windansea Beach. Take a stroll five blocks down to Marine Street Beach, or head south to the world-famous Windansea Beach. Gather the group in the comfortable living room to watch a movie or show on the flat screen cable TV, or play games while seating on the overstuffed leather sofas. The entryway has a gorgeous organ and armchair, perfect for a quiet afternoon spent lost in your current novel. Warm neutrals, granite countertops, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances make the full kitchen a chef's dream. Whip up delicious home-cooked meals using the in-wall oven and six-burner gas stove-top. Other additions include a spacious corner pantry, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, blender, and toaster. Stay indoors to eat at the round dining table that can fit up to six guests (with the extra leaf), or take your plate outside to the back patio, which also has a gas grill for more meal variety. There is a 1/2 bathroom downstairs. All the bedrooms are upstairs the main bedroom has a king-size bed, cozy sun room, and large attached bathroom. Enjoy a hot shower or fill up the jetted tub to end the day on a relaxing note. A queen-size bed occupies the second bedroom, and the third has a full-size bed sharing a bathroom.. A washer and dryer are even included so you can pack extra light and always have a fresh outfit and swimsuit for tomorrow's adventure. Great location!

Wonderful location in a peaceful neighborhood! Yummy selection of restaurants within walking distance of this property. Needs new furnishings throughout, especially family room! One small sofa is not enough! Four adults cannot relax comfortably! Not much more that caught us off guard.

Great stay, will come back

This place was in a wonderful location and was perfect for our family. With the exception of the queen bed, which could be firmer/replaced, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The king bed was super comfortable! The WiFi router was unplugged when we got there and it took us a minute to find it (was in the middle bedroom). Texting with Vacasa to troubleshoot this wasn’t the smoothest although we figured it out eventually and they were doing their best to be helpful. There’s a ton of towels in the place, including beach towels. Extra sheets would also have been useful. The kitchen and the place overall is reasonably well equipped (we appreciated the rice cooker and the W/D). It was great to have parking in the property. The church organ in the front room was fun to play with! Just to reiterate, the location was spectacular and we would come back again!

Great location, house needs updating

The location is wonderful, quiet and safe. It was easy to check in and check out. It was great to have parking spots as well. The rooms and space are as advertised. There were plenty of towels and paper towels. However, the house is in need of major renovations. Everything is pretty dated and used. It was clean but the rugs are very old and many of the shades on the windows don’t work properly. The primary bedroom is pretty bright so if you’re sensitive to light you should bring an eye mask. The shower in the primary bedroom hardly works - we were glad to have another shower to use. The shampoo and conditioner provided were travel size and I’d recommend bringing extra depending on how long you’ll be staying. The kitchen has pots and pans and utensils but not much else. The knives are usable but dull. There are no essentials like salt, pepper or olive oil. There was soap and a sponge, as well as dishwashing pods but it would have been nice to have some other cleaning supplies to wipe counters and the outdoor table. Two of the burners on the barbecue weren’t working. We used the oven and it worked fine after we figured out how to use it - it wasn’t very intuitive. We didn’t use the stovetop so I’m not sure if that functions properly. We’ve stayed in several rental homes in the area and since this one is very dated the pricing is fair. It was comfortable and we stayed 4 nights, but if we were staying longer we might look elsewhere.

The house was in a great area of La Jolla. Check in and check out were easy and the house was clean. The only issue was the interior carpet, the furniture and the blinds really need updating. You could tell it was cleaned well, but it still felt dirty because the carpet was old and stained and the chair and couch in the family room were really old. The blinds were hard to work.

Beautiful and convenient

Our stay was lovely. We were all comfortable and the location was fantastic. It was very clean which allowed us to relax. The location allowed for easy walks to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and has potential to be much better, but as others noted it is not as well maintained as it could be with lots of cheaper furniture and accessories (coffee table seemed like it might fall over). Also, our first night one bed frame broke (cheap particle board) and in the morning I made coffee and the coffee machine was broken, and it leaked all over the counter and floor before I saw it. Tough start to the weekend trip, but I will say the property management team was friendly and very helpful, they got us a new coffee machine and fixed the bedframe the same day (Saturday). Sadly, no offer to reduce the rate after all of that. If you don't expect too much, it is in a great location, was stocked with what is needed, good parking, and does the job.

Great location and very close to the beach which we absolutely loved. We enjoyed walking to the beach every morning for our morning walk with out dogs. Property is pet friendly, spacious and safe.
