"The room was clean and the housekeeping staff did such a great job making sure that the room was cleaned regularly. The Front desk staff were all very helpful, friendly and very professional. Breakfast was very average but we are not talking about breakfast at places like this being gourmet, etc. Parking was okay and it does cost $30 per car per night. The pool was nice. The gym was adequate. There was an ADA elevator that went from the lobby to the gym level but it didn't work and I was told that it was used for storage. Seems like this needs to be addressed. Overall it was a pleasant stay."

"We were very pleased with our stay. This is a cute, simple little hotel that is in a great location in La Jolla (highly recommend Don Bravo down the street for fish tacos). The room was clean and very fairly priced. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The price was good for LaJolla and the room was clean and well appointed. It had a very comfortable bed and great pillows. The hotel is located in a good spot, a short walk to the beach to watch the surfers. The pool looked green and uninviting, and it is walled in. It isn't a spot where you would want to sit and read a book. But it is fine for a brief swim."
