La Jolla Cottage by the Sea

Relaxing, quaint studio in the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla. Quiet and serene with private entrance and balcony overlooking a small fish pond.

A 10 minute walk to Calumet Park with an overlook of the Pacific Ocean. Coffee shops, a bakery, yoga and restaurants all close by. A King sized pullout couch with memory foam topper sleeps 2 adults comfortably. A Twin sized mattress also available.

Cycle friendly with complementary beach cruisers to explore the Pacific Beach boardwalk, or cycle the Bird Rock path into La Jolla Village. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys are available.

Kitchenette (see amenities listed), shower, and balcony.

Please enjoy our backyard from the comfort of the cottage deck. The backyard is part of our living space, and may be shared upon request.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The whole room and setup were just right. The bottle of wine was a nice extra. I appreciated all the little extras provided, to compensate for some items we forgot to pack. I would absolutely stay there again.

Peaceful Bird Rock Stay

Great Place in the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla with peek a boo views of the ocean. Owners were flexible & great to work with. Close to all ocean activities & great restaurants within walking distance.

Great spot

This was a great spot in a perfect location for our brief stay in La Jolla. The bed was surprisingly comfy, the croissants at the nearby bakery were wonderful, and having bikes available to use was a huge plus. Thank you, Marty, for a great stay.

Perfect location

This studio rental is set on a beautiful property, in what has become one of my favorite parts of the San Diego area. The walk to stores, shopping, wine, coffee, restaurants, and a great bakery is just a matter of a few short blocks. The space itself is outfitted with everything that you should need to enjoy your stay. Highly recommend.

Great Space

Everything was perfect for our short stay. Close to dining/eateries. Close to La Jolla Village,Torrey Pines and downtown San Diego. The upstairs space is perfect for a couple.

La Jolla Getaway

Nice place to stay if you're ever lucky enough to be in La Jolla. Sunny studio with kitchenette and big TV screen. Excellent location only a few miles from downtown La Jolla in a safe neighborhood. Highly recommended. NB: especially good if you need to park a car whether day or night.

Seaside loveliness

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The sweet deck with the sound of the sea nearby, cozy king size bed, fabulous walking thru gorgeous neighborhoods, the best coffee ever just down the hill, a bakery that will be remembered in your heart for years, and very kind hosts. We highly recommend.

Quaint one room apartment in a quiet area. The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean. It was a perfect space for my short stay in LaJolla. The owner is very responsive to questions. I would stay again when in LaJolla.

The La Jolla cottage was perfect for our long weekend visit for a family member’s wedding. The hosts were fabulous, super-accommodating, and helpful. They let us in early, gave us great restaurant suggestions, and have such a beautiful space. It worked great short-term for 2 adults and 1 kid, the pullout couch was surprisingly comfortable. We loved walking down to the beach for sunset and then sitting on the balcony in the evenings.

Hidden Gem

This cottage was an amazing stay! From the utilities provided to the area begin so close to awesome spots. Felt just like home away from home! The neighborhood is very quiet, cozy, and beautiful. Especially loved the accommodations when it came to early check-in and late check-out! Huge plus in my book! Would definitely be coming back and recommending to friends.
