Enjoy your time here soaking in the sunshine on the large, balcony deck taking in the blue Pacific ocean views and outdoor living at its best with an open concept that leads you into the modern living room and fully equipped, modern kitchen.

The Space:

The space is a two bedroom, two bathroom home with very large outdoor balcony deck that leads into the living area via fully open la cantina doors giving the feel of a continuous indoor outdoor living space perfect for the San Diego weather. Access to the home is through an alleyway, and living space is located entirely on the second story. With two provided off-street parking spaces directly next to all of the famed boutiques and dining on the roundabout ladened portion of La Jolla Blvd and world renowned surf breaks and beaches to the west, once you're here, you'll be able to enjoy the most that San Diego has to offer on foot!

Guest Access:

You will have exclusive use of the entire space during your stay, including two off street parking spaces.

Welcome to Bird Rock, La Jolla, one of San Diego’s most desirable coastal neighborhoods. This walkable seaside enclave is known for beautiful beaches, world-class surfing, ocean-view walks, top-rated cafés, and acclaimed restaurants all minutes from Pacific Beach and downtown La Jolla. Our guests love Bird Rock for its quiet, upscale vibe, stunning sunsets, and authentic local feel, making it the perfect location for a relaxing Southern California beach getaway without the crowds.

Getting Around:

Once here, most everything can be done within a short, enjoyable walk.

Other Things to Note:

We have a VERY STRICT no party/ excessive noise of any kind policy and guests must agree to our Good Neighbor Policy prior to making a reservation.

Noise

Our home is intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties of any kind are not allowed.

Occupancy

We strictly adhere to our advertised maximum occupancy levels at each home. No exceptions are made for any reason. The number of guests cannot exceed the listed maximum occupancy for the property.

Parking

To ensure guests know where they can and cannot park, detailed parking instructions are provided. We encourage guests to adhere to posted parking regulations and be mindful not to block neighboring driveways.

Trash

Part of being a good neighbor is cleaning up after yourself. Guests are provided with trash pick-up days and instructed to bring bins out during applicable days. Surf Style utilizes a trash valet service at select properties to ensure our properties are kept clean of trash and debris.

No A/C Poor Communication

Clean, well appointed great location near town, excellent kitchen. Some questions before arrival went unanswered such as bedding. Owner did not know if bedroom fans were in the appt. NO A/C in the bedrooms after I was told "the apartment has AC". 1 text and 3 unreturned phone calls on Saturday. 76 degrees 70% humidity in bedrooms with AC only in the living room and Kitchen. Main road is way to noisy to open windows at night. Showers would not drain some times but did others. Owner finally returned VRBO app message said they would send someone for AC and drain - no one came. It was cool outside during our stay (Oct 2024) this appt would be uninhabitable during a hot season and the owner is no help. Also neighborhood IS very safe but the apartment is not secure. Access is via the alley way behind the building and a locked wooden gate that is easily jumped is the only thing to prevent intruders. Was not an issue for us but if your security conscious this is not the place for you.
