"My wife and I recently completed a 9-day trip around the Andalucia region of Spain. I had seen the Parque Natural Cazorla on a travel site itinerary and decided to make the drive up to the park with a one-night stay in Hotel El Curro in the nearby town of Burunchel. "We had a lovely overnight stay. Staff we very helpful and friendly. Rooms were rustic in the style of the whole hotel and were clean and comfortable. Dogs were free at this hotel which was welcomed. Surroundings of the hotel is beautiful.. If there was one negative, it was the look of the outdoor pool.. I know it is winter and not used at the moment but the water looked like it could be a health hazard"

Hotel & Spa Sierra De Cazorla 4*
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, 44 reviews
"First, the view from our room was worth the stay—gorgeous! The hotel was good. Staff had limited English but that’s to be expected off the beaten track. The meals that came with “full board” were quite limited, and we would go a la Carter next time. Room was a little stuffy, and it was a little noisy in the evening with the window open. The thermostat didn’t do anything, so a bit of air conditioning was not an optio. "
