"Perfect! What an easy and comfortable stay!The location is rural, but it is very very easy to find - even with our after-dark arrival. The vibe was fun and calm and comfortable. Great location for visiting La Grange and Smithville. Wish we could’ve stayed longer - maybe next time!"

"Thanks for not letting me have the first floor room that I requested when I arrived with my 70 pound electric bicycle. Thanks for not having an individual thermostat in the room and you guys get to decide the temperature so I can be hot and uncomfortable. Thanks for having a front desk representative so lazy that she can’t walk 5 feet over to the amenities and show me the medicine that she says is there but isn’t. Thanks for starting breakfast at lunchtime. Other than that, everything was lovely. Thanks again, Disconfort Inn."

"We arrived after dark to this magical home. It was absolutely beautiful. The landscaping and outdoor lighting was like stepping into a movie. There was beautiful guitar music playing, the little ornamental brook that runs through the back was very special. The pool and hot tub, surrounded by little seating areas, were so cozy! Getting into the property was a breeze. The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of everything, including space. This is a very special place, one of the best I’ve stayed in. It’s secluded, but not too far out from civilization. The road to get in is seldom traveled, I saw less than a dozen cars on it during my stay. If you are looking for a couples get away, or a great place for a small family, you will love this place. There are toys and games around and the large grounds would be heaven for kiddos. The pool is perfect for children, big and small. I love the large ledges at either end. John is a very responsive host and was very invested in making sure everything was perfect. I’ve rents dozens of Vrbos over the years, and it’s a little rare and very nice to be able to communicate with the owner, instead of a mgmt company. He was the most responsive host I’ve ever had. This home is a labor of love, and it shows up in all the attention to every little detail. I can’t wait to return , it’s worth every penny!"
