"Choose this hotel as it was convenient en route to our greater trip. What a delightful choice, a 19th century town house tastefully renovated, maintaining it's historical features and charm. The hostess was a pleasure to meet, greeting us with a friendly and helpful manner, giving us information on where to eat along with the history of the building and town. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean, the lounge & breakfast rooms were full of character, the breakfast was lovely and we had tea/coffee available at anytime."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. What really put me off, though, was the general atmosphere. Some of the other guests seemed… off. A few were lingering in the hallways at odd hours, and there were loud conversations late at night right outside my room. I didn’t feel unsafe, exactly, but I didn’t feel totally relaxed either. The staff was polite but not particularly attentive. I wouldn’t say this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but I probably wouldn’t return unless there were major improvements in both cleanliness and guest screening."
