Jungle cabin

Our stay was amazing. We loved the character of the house and surroundings of the jungle and stream behind the home. We had plenty of space for the 4 of us. Roxana was a great host and communication was great. It was a great location for everything in La Fortuna and would stay here again.

Great Hideaway

With a rental car, this is a good location with a cute little pool right across from the unit. The bed was comfy and the kitchen contained everything needed. The only downside is the stairs leading to the kitchen are narrow.

Wonderful place tucked-in to the jungle!

Beautiful place tucked between a picturesque Costa Rican farm field and a small creek in the jungle. Our kids loved the small pool, which is only shared by the other bungalow. The main floor is very accessible but be the stairs to get to the basement kitchen are narrow and steep. Roxana was super responsive and went above and beyond for us - overall a perfect location and the best part was laying in hammocks on the back deck listening to the jungle sounds and watching the fireflies. Perfect for our family of 5!

Clean Property, Great Communication

The villa was just as described in the listing. It was clean and well kept. The owner did a great job communicating. The ladder to the loft was a bit difficult to climb and I was a bit nervous to have my daughter up there for safety, so we had her sleep on the trundle bed and all worked out. One suggestion would be a mini fridge can coffee pot on the main level for those that don't need access to the full kitchen downstairs.

Nice location, property looks better in photos than in reality.

The location is great, tucked away in the jungle with a lovely stream right out back. The hair dryer and washer/dryer did not work. The jacuzzi tub looks great but isn't functional unless you're ok with cold water. Water heater much too small to fill the tub. The wifi went down several times, the manager was quick to get it back on but we had to reach out each time. You had to be nimble and athletic to get down the extremely narrow and steep stairs to the kitchen area. We would look to rent a different property if we were to return to La Fortuna in the future.

Great stay

Beautiful place and we were able to see howler monkeys right outside. Host went above and beyond with helping us get to La Fortuna from Monteverde with road condition updates.
