Nice little hotel in a great location. The restaurant connected to the place is very good too, wonderful breakfast. Pretty much everything in town is in walking distance with the very unique Soda Rodriguez and a delicious steakhouse a block away. Pool was clean and refreshing. I’d stay her again!

The room was clean, and they changed towels daily. The restaurant next door had amazing food with lots of gluten-free options, and they gave you a 10% discount if you were a hotel guest. The hotel is also just 15 minutes from the volcano lookout hike.

No frills hotel BUT it was spotlessly clean, shiny floors. Shower was clean, but a bit outdated. Staff was amazing!!! Good restaurant at the hotel (the Open Kitchen) and also a good Italian restaurant just across from it. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, but only about 5 min walk from the main street in La Fortuna. Also, a very good coffee shop on that street (Vanilla).

This property was managed by a great staff who was available and helpful. The location is walkable to dining and shopping. It is an older property. Be advised that the you can't flush toilet paper. That took some getting use to it.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arenal Rabfer! The staff are super helpful—a big shout out to Fernanda and Fernando on the front desk, who were a huge help in booking activities (there is so much to choose from!) and transportation. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the pool is lovely, the food in the restaurant is delicious, and the location is fantastic: less than a block to restaurants, a bank, a fresh fruit store, and anything else you might want. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
