"Quite a quirky little hotel with lots of charm in a stunning location. Off the beaten track, without Sat Nav it would be a challenge to find it. When you do itâs worth it. Second time we have been there, and will go again some time."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The building is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. The owner, Jean Pierre is a real character! He has built the property with his own hands & has done an incredible job. The area is beyond beautiful, absolutely spotless clean & nearby some beautiful locations.
The owners are some of the friendliest, warmest hosts I have ever came across. They went above and beyond to ensure we were settled and happy with our stay. They even fixed a couple of bikes for us...

The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms.

"Perfectly positioned to break a long drive between SW France & the northern ports. Located next to a massive plan dâeau or lake with a fake beach. Really cool & pretty to walk around. The lady in charge takes extra care over everything in the hotel. Pretty cushions in communal areas, plants & pretty tables on the terrace. Itâs the extra touches that made the big difference. Iâd defo stay again. "

The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes.
We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived.
We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."
