"Everything was great. My only complaint and don’t want to even say complaint is that it is tight getting our large fishing boat in and out of the drive. There was not enough space to turn it around. Our kids had a larger home booked at the same time so we were able to park the boat at their rental. "

"I traveled in with my husband for a fishing tournament. The location is perfect for getting to the lake. While he was pre fishing I stayed on the porch and got a lot of work done on a big project with zero distractions! Peaceful Progress. This place is perfect for a writer or a reader, or anyone who wants to get away! It’s so beautiful with all of the sounds of nature. The landscape and pond (with fountain and catfish you can feed) have quite the calming effect. The hosts are incredible, the accommodations are extremely comfortable, and this will be our go to spot every year! One of my favorite stays to date! Highly Recommend! "
"Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. "
