"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."

"If a little piece of French countryside is what you are looking for then this is place is for you. We enjoyed our stay though did not utilize the property to its full potential. We used this as a base to visit the caves and tour the surrounding area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to just relax here. Next time. Jacqueline was awesome. We would recommend."

"The place was very clean and had everything needed for a great carefree holiday. The pool was always clean and well maintained. Hosts Phillippe and Veronique were great. Also very close to a large supermarket and Sarlat centre. I would highly recommend this place."

Gite conversion was fine, though some of the equipment was idiosyncratic, with microwave/grill but no oven. "We had a lovely relaxing couple of weeks 11-25 May 2024. Karima and Mark were great hosts. The weather wasn’t great unusually for this time of year so we only used the pool a few times which was a shame as I love to swim. We made the most of what good weather we had. My husband loves to cycle so on the dry days he explored the area on his bike. The house was lovely and we had most things we needed."
