Warning if you arrive late get a B&B code
We have stayed at this hotel a few times en-route to the Alps for skiing. Every time we arrive around midnight and always have problems with the automated reception ATM. The problem is hotels.com DO NOT give the B&B reservation code you need to access your reservation with the ATM...so you are forced to call their helpline in the middle of the night. Hotels.com only provide their own itinerary code which is invalid. So, if you know you are arriving late, contact the property in advance and requestion the B&B RESERVATION code....you'll thank me for this info! Unfortunately they cannot give you the access code to your room directly until you pay your 1.40 Euro tax. Otherwise, this hotel is very convenient for us for an overnight stopover. The family rooms with mezzanine are excellent, showers hot and rooms are clean. There's a boulangerie, petrol and a supermarket all close by.

Average not totally pet friendly as advertised.
Average room bit noisy , but clean. We stayed one night chose this chain as pet friendly we was travelling from Spain to calais .We prepaid for breakfast. We had a small well behaved timid dog with us who wasn't allowed in reception or the small area where you got breakfast. It was awkward and uncomfortable i insisted on a refund for breakfast and the young lad wouldn't give a refund to start with and told me i had to contact hotels. Com. Eventually after contacting a supervisor i was given a cash refund for our breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this chain as it wasn't acceptable to advertise as pet friendly then exclude them .

Great overnight stay
Stayed for one night travelling from Calais to Nice. Great quad room. The kids liked being in the elevated part of the room. Friendly reception staff greeted us. Nice and clean and much needed air conditioning. Very quiet too. Oh, and a nice boulangerie down the road.

Room smells maybe from the carpet or the pipes from the toilet and the room needs dusting and hoovering.I know its a budget hotel but cleanliness should be good. We appreciate the daily towel and sheets changed. Air conditioning is not enough in the family room.

We hadn't used these properties before this stay but liked the look of the family rooms with a mezzanine level for the kids. The rooms are well thought out and have all you need for a night's stay and a budget price. The property had an out of hours touch in check in system which gives you the door access code and wifi codes. On the down side the rooms are tight, they are big enough for what you need but they are not opulent. Also to accommodate the mezzanine level above the bathroom the distance from the shower tray to the shower head is probably around 160 cm which means taller residents will have to take the head out of its clamp to wash their hair. HOWEVER, this is a budget hotel done well. We would use again.

Loved ability to check in late
Easy to check in late. All automatic so that took the pressure off arriving late. Room was too warm, ac didn’t really work and it was too noisy to open window. Breakfast was good.

The aircon in our room could not be altered by either us or the staff. It was full on all night and we could not sleep. They had no other room for us. The receptionist tried her best. We asked for one extra pillow and was told there was not one available. We insisted on our money back which we got eventually after a long fight.

Friendly greeting on arrival from helpful receptionist. Room basic but comfy and clean. Good shower. Only grumbles were the breakfast was very poor (though the coffee was good) and the room was noisy in the morning.

Exactly what you'd expect.
This is a fair b&b hotel. Better than some. Not the easiest to find but ok. La Boucherie nearby is a decent enough restaurant for a simple cheap bite to eat. 20% off restaurant if you book through tripadvisor. Hotel was what we needed.

Would recommend!
Great location for a stop-over on the way back from Italy/Switzerland (or a stop-over on the way down next time). A few reasonably priced places to eat for family without breaking the bank. Nice clean hotel with good breakfast.

Good cheap, basic accommodatuion - No Frills
Good basic hotel for an overnight stop. Short on facilities but that comes with the price and is to be expected.Places to eat in the immediate area but the access road needs to be finished first; with the closed roads and lack of signage the place was a real challenge to find - but we did it in the end! Surprised they charge for breakfast now, they didn't last time we stayed in one of this chains' hotels.

Comfortable hotel just requires some TLC
We chose to stay here as a rest stop from Spain back to England, it is about 3 hours from Calais. It was easy to find via sat nav, it was in a sort of industrial estate which worried me a little but it was actually quiet and we had no disturbances. Unfortunately we got the the room and noticed that the floor was wet, it was wet because the air conditioning unit was leaking. It looked as though they had attempt e to repair it but given up. The main issue was that it was actually leaking onto both the floor and an electric radiator which is obviously extremely dangerous. The available staff didn’t speak good enough English for us to attempt to explain the situation and it was late. My husband ensured everything was off and we were safe. However, you could see that someone had attempted to fix it so I’m sure they were aware. The staff were friendly and two spoke enough English that we could find our booking (they couldn’t find them originally). Also I wouldn’t recommend staying here with young children as the second bedroom area is a mezzanine. Which you access via very steep stairs, also the fence that is for safety could do with being to the ceiling as when my son was sitting on the bed he could easily lean over it. The shower was very tight and the ceiling was so low when you were in the shower. I can imagine that if you were tall and on the bigger side it could be very uncomfortable. It reminded me of a caravan.

Reasonable stopover on the way down to the Alps
We always stop near Troyes on our way down to the Alps as it is about 500 miles from our home which is as much as I can drive in a day & leaves about 350 miles for the following day meaning we can get to the ski resorts early in the afternoon & get into our accommodation/ buy lift passes etc. There are many of these type of Motels usually on the outskirts of town close to the motorway, this one was okay for the price & well located but I preferred The Golden Tulip in Troyes which we used last year.

Great room for the money
We were just passing through this part of France and randomly chose Troyes and this hotel to stay at for the night. The area around the hotel is very industrial park like, but it's only a couple minutes drive into the center of town (which is a fantastic place to visit!). The price of the hotel was fantastic. It was a very basic hotel, but we didn't need more than that for the night. There was a double bed when you walk in and then a set of steep stairs up to a loft with two single beds. The layout really made the most of the space. The beds were very comfortable and the room was great. The air conditioning was a life saver with the summer heat outside!

Goed voor 1 nacht. Low budget, toch 74 euro met taksen en hondjes. Kleine behuizing, sanitair sterk verouderd. Hierdoor matige urinegeur in het slaapgedeelte. Dat was vervelend. Douchegordijn onderaan ranzig. Lavabo gebarsten. Weinig faciliteiten. Wel een goed bed en voldoende opbergruimte voor 1 a 2 nachten. Maximum 2 sterren waard. Omdat de hondjes (begrijpelijk) niet in de ontbijtruimte mochten, wilden we een ontbijt bestellen voor op de kamer. Jammer dat dit niet mocht. Zelf koeken gehaald en koffie uit de automaat (duur voor wat je krijgt)

Arrivé a 22h a l'hôtel, pas d'accueil, seulement une borne qui est censer nous donnner les informations Reservation introuvable , pas de numero d'urgence, impossible de trouver quelqu'un a qui parler ! Nous sommes repartis a 23h30 apres 1h30 de tentative Aucune information n'a été donner par Hotels.com non plus Nous nous sommes retrouvés a devoir trouver un hotel en derniere minute a 23h30 payer un autre hotel et ainsi pouvoir dormir quelque part !

Chambre sale non nettoyer matelas non conforme mal au dos. Vraiment dommage que les femmes des ménages n'est fasse pas les ménages proprement.
