"Location is excellent. The room we had was new but very basic. There was no wardrobe, no shelves, no hangers - no place for your luggage at all. No cleaning or changing of towls during the stay. Very expensive for what it was. It turned out at the end of the stay that they apparently did not give us the room we paid for - and we were compensated some for that. Our friends and other guest we spoke with expressed the same issue: no AC. Next: When you pay 300 euros per night one would expect they would have room in the restaurant they promote. We were told they didn't have room for us on our second night there. We could see they filled 12-15 tables...

"This an exceptional place that we recommend very vividly. We spent a beautiful 4 days with two teenagers. The pool made them happy and it was a perfect base for visiting the Castles of the Loire, quite close to Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise and Azay-le-Rideau among others. The staff is also very nice and accommodating, they started writing to us a few days before our arrival to make sure it went smoothly. Only great things to say about this place!"

"We stayed last year as a half way stop between our holiday destination and Calais. We really enjoyed coming back for the 3rd time. It’s a lovely quiet location, the hotel reserve a parking space for us as we have the bikes on the roof, we always get a lovely family room. The food wasn’t so good this time, very bland (I had prawns, my husband the salmon ratatouille) the children’s meals are very plain but they eat them and it’s fine. The beds are comfortable and large. Only errors this time was that we requested the bed be made up as a twin and it wasn’t and we had no water when we arrived. "
