"Whilst this hotel shouts in terms of its amenities and grandeur, it doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel when it comes to the fundamental standards. The rooms whilst large feel basic and outdated. Where the bathroom had been cleaned the floor remained wet throughout my stay never drying. Internet wasn’t accessible to start with due to low signal, there wasn’t a fridge and my hairdryer wasn’t working. The staff were very good at resolving any issues raised but most of these wouldn’t have been issues in hotels far low rated. The breakfast was standard in its range for Costa Rica, hash browns overcooked until they contained no discernible potato. But eggs were good. I’ve had a better selection at other hotels. The location was handy for the airport and it was nice to be able to walk to nearby restaurants and minimart safely. Complimentary shuttle to the airport is a great asset. To me, this place did not feel as luxurious or convenient in terms of facilities in comparison to other 4 or 5 stars I’ve experienced or would expect."

"hi, it was good but we had dinner and the food was small for the price. Water and free coffee machine. We asked for a car to the airport and the price quoted by reception was nearly four times what an uber cost and about an about twenty bucks more than the airport taxis so although the staff were very helpful, the hotel is definitely making it's money."

"The property and room were very nice, and the staff were great! We especially liked the free breakfast buffet - lots of options. We travel to Costa Rica every year to visit family and stay at a hotel the night before we leave to be near the airport, and we will definitely be staying here again next year. "

"I really loved this hotel! It was beautiful and unique. It was the first place we stayed after landing in Costa Rica, and it was such a wonderful welcome. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would 100% stay here again!"
