"The room is super clean and the view is amazing. All the staffs are super friendly. It was an easy check in and check out. My best friend and I had an amazing time at La Fortuna and would definitely want to stay at Fortuna Retreat again. "

"The staff really make this place, including Luiz at the lovely on-site restaurant. The location is nice and quiet, about 20 min walk to the bustle of town. And all the tours and activities offer transportation so we never needed a car. I know it’s only 3 star, but the rooms could use a few extras, like glasses, access to ice and/or a coffee machine. Thankfully we were allowed to keep a few things in the communal fridge behind reception. For the price, this was a great place to stay! "

"The property and surroundings were beautiful. The room was very nice and fit our family of four perfectly. We loved hearing the nature noise maker surrounding us and the nature hike was really fun too. I would recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, it is a good ways up a bumpy road."
