"This place has a great location. Just outside of the heart of la Fortuna. It was safe, peaceful and we had everything we needed to make our own meals. It is a gated home/parking which was unique. It was cozy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Good bang for your buck. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!"

I had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Casa del Río, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely beautiful — nestled by the river, with peaceful surroundings and a charming ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern comfort with local character.
Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. I especially loved waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony.
What really made this stay exceptional, though, was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Warm, welcoming, and attentive — they made us feel more like family than guests.

"We had a really great stay at Villa Marcela. It is perfectly located just off the main road in La Fortuna so you are close to all the action but out of the way a bit. There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more."
