"This property is pretty much perfect as a solo traveller, it is definitely on the lower cost of properties in the town but this does not mean it is unwelcoming, uncomfortable or cold. The room very much reminded me of my university days, small but functional. Breakfast was just right to start the day, with a typical continental fare and dont miss out on a hard boiled egg. "Not a fancy 5 star hotel but Best staff and service! Super convenient. During my trip to Switzerland I stayed in a few hotels in Geneva, Lausanne and Villars. Alpe Fleure was the best among all. Loved the front desk Stefan (I hope I spelled it right), Caroline and the lady who did the shift on Feb 5th morning. The hotel had everything we needed. Great views. Good insulation it was never cold in the room. The location can’t get any better! Will not stay anywhere else when I travel to Villars...
