Fishing on Da Bay
There were five of us, and we had a great time. Everything worked, and the sunsets were excellent.

Lovely
The view of the lake is lovely! We enjoyed the comfortableness of the cabin. Especially, we appreciated the sauna! Fun place to stay in the UP!

Nice view, non communicative host!
Overall this was a pleasant stay. Comfortable furniture, good view, well stocked kitchen. Clean but dated. Our major complaint was a complete non response from the host either by text (my phone said read within 5 minutes) or through message on VRBO. The bad: no place to plug in the tv and dvd player in the upstairs kids room. No connecting cable from dvd to tv in main living area. Fireplace wouldn’t wor, only one of three bulbs working in light over dining table, no shade on lamp in double twin room and one of the closet bifold doors missing. Lamp in upstairs tv room had to be plugged in and unplugged to use since the switch was inoperable. No available plug in in master BR to charge phone or use Cpap had to unplug house phone to use that outlet. No screens on sliding doors pre ending ventilation unless you wanted to fight flies. The Wi-Fi code provide by the email from VRBO was wrong but was corrected in the book at house. All these things were a comedy of errors and we wound up having a good trip. If the host had responded and rectified any of the issues we probably would’ve been satisfied. Radio silence by the host was the crucial negative. I don’t know what would’ve happened if we’d had a Major issue to deal with.

Amazing!!!!
Wow!!! By far the best location and amenities we've had the pleasure of booking. The property owner stopped by and shared a couple pics of the Northern Lights we had seen the night before. He was extremely kind and welcoming. This house has all you need and more! The kids especially loved being on the water. The kayaks were a huge hit. Wifi was great. Matt, thank you for a great vacation. We hope to be back someday!

Yooper life
Even though it was a beautiful family rental, we spent most of our time outside, enjoying the beautiful lake, the tiki bar, the fire pit, there were yard games, there was a nice new grill, the fishing was awesome. We brought our own boat and there was a boat landing not far away and a dock at the rental that we could tie it up on. The Upper Michigan beauty from the boat is beyond compare. Also the convenience store just up the hill gave us access to worms, ice cream and more alcoholic beverages . No complaints.

Loved our stay
We truly enjoyed our stay here on the bay. The house is very well stocked for everything you could need. There was plenty of space for everything. WiFi worked very well. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and reading by the water. We saw bald eagles several times. This location worked very well for the day trips we took to the Porkies, the Keweenaw as well as waterfalls very nearby. it also helped we had perfect weather just about every day. Matt was very responsive to any inquiries. We will be back.

Search for the Northern Lights
The home and grounds were quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. Lake Superior is in the back yard. Enjoyed fishing, hiking and relaxing. The dark nightly sky allows for high visibility on the stars. Planning to return soon!

Great place in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful week on the bay. The house has plenty of room as shown in the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked. Great place for sunsets and stargazing. The location was perfect, very close to waterfalls and Mt Arvon. There is a small store within walking distance and a nice bar/restaurant only a mile away (Finns). I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

So Relaxing
Great spot to rent. Loved the view and the amenities that were offered. The kayaks were a huge plus....no extra charge. The fire pit was nice. The house was clean.....which was the most important thing for us. We would definitely rent here again.

We had a relaxing week. We kayaked a lot and saw eagles and other birds. We went and checked out all the waterfalls. Ate at some local restaurants. Sunsets and fires were our favorite. The stars at night were amazing!

Awesome property.
I have now stayed at this property in summer and winter. Both stays were very enjoyable. The latest was a winter getaway. Sitting by the cozy fireplace, a wonderful view of the lake from the cabin and a great Sauna. Summer is swimming, kayaking and fires by the beach. I plan on coming back again soon.

Perfect Spot
We had a marvelous stay at Here on the Bay! We especially loved the lake views and the sauna. We went running down the road in the mornings and loved seeing the deer and the gorgeous lake views. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I should have read more reviews before we arrived, however, as we arrived after dark and had not realized that the house shares a driveway with another house and you don’t get a good look at the house from that angle so we were a little confused for a minute when we arrived but thankfully we didn’t go to the wrong house! (It’s the one straight ahead as you go down the hill)

A gem on Huron Bay
A friend and I stayed in mid-September and were thrilled by the gorgeous view of the Bay. This property has everything you need and the outdoor appeal is off the charts. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

Perfect Relaxing Escape!
This property is amazing in so many ways! The property is perfect to get away with all the comforts of home. Or to have a fun family or friends retreat! Views are spectacular! The Paddle House tiki bar at the lake was such a fun bonus! We watched the Brewer Game and the sunset at the waters edge. Kayaks and a row boat are available to use. Kitchen fully stocked, furniture was really comfy. Fireplace made the stormy evening cozy. The sauna was amazing as well. Great WiFi and great hosts! Thank you. We can’t wait to come back for some familytime when are adult kids get back from deployment. Thank you so much for sharing your up north oasis with us!

Memorable Family Getaway
We have stayed at many VRBOs with our children over the years, but this was one of our very favorites. The adults and kids alike loved the kayaks and sauna, and the paddle shack was a great touch to the property. Cornhole was fun. Matt was a kind, responsive host who came to introduce himself. We highly recommend as a family or friend getaway! What a beautiful area. Those sunsets!

Cabin was clean and stock with all the amenities. Even done to condiments in the fridge. Boat house turned into Tiki Bar was awesome. Loved going Kayaking everyday which were free with the cabin. Great house and a great time. We are already booking are next trip.

Home is very clean but dated. Lots of great spaces to relax or play. The tiki bar with stereo was so nice to have when fishing off the dock, playing corn hole or sitting by the fire! Close enough to resources and far away enough to feel secluded. Well supplied kitchen utensils and spices/ condiments! Already reserved next year's stay!!

We had an amazing time while staying at this rental. Our kids spent their days on the water and playing games at night. We hiked nearby. The property manager went out of his way to check in with us and make sure everything was good. We would definitely return!

Wonderful Family Vacation
Great family trip! We had an awesome time at the property and exploring the area! The kids where able to swim and build sand castles on the property. We seen a pair of eagles every day and beautiful sunsets over the lake at night. We enjoyed using the out door games most evenings. We went on several day trips to different parks and waterfalls and went on short hikes with the kids.
