"I stay here on occasion when the hotels close to Mall of Africa are booked out. Especially if you're here for a business week the Ellipse appartments is a really good alternative. Easy quick walk to Mall of Africa if one needs something. Safe compound. There's even a completely fine restaurant right one the premises (Olives & Plates). I also like the fact that they have a laundry machine in the appartment which is hand if I am on a longer trip. The one and only thing you need to know is that as a non-resident you have to enter/exit down at the roundabout by the garage entrance. The pin code system can be a pain sometime. Highly reccomen to keep connected with the hosta on WhatsApp. They respond very fast so help is always close to come."

"It is a nice hotel just om the perimeter of the Mall of Africa in Waterfall City. Check out the Highline roof top bar and restaurant for a nice view of a sunset over Midrand. Sure there is a little thing here or there that is a bit worn but nothing major. The staff is fantastic. Everything I was leaving they checked I was getting into the right Uber ride. Felt really safe the whole time."

"We have stayed here before, about 3 years ago, we loved the hotel then, and we loved it this time, but with caveats. The property is showing signs of wear that are not being addressed. Noisy extractors in the bathroom, a broken lamp in the room. Things not being addressed like this time the shine off an excellent hotel. The restaurant is exceptional."
