The breakfast was very nice with good selection. A disappointment was being asked to pay for an extra pillow for my daughter who had broken her collar bone and needed some additional support while sleeping. "I stayed for two nights in late July. Check in was super easy. It's across from the fjord and 3 minutes from the grocery and wine shops. It's a few steps to a bar and local restaurants. In other words, great location! It's a tad dated in the room but very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Very good coffee. Definitely recommend."

"My family and I (13 years old to 82 years old) had a fantastic holiday here. This is the best VRBO I have stayed in. The host provided everything you might need or think of - her information packet is better than most tourist books you will find! She was also incredibly responsive to questions. The location is simply beautiful and the area offers many things to see and do. I could say so many other things but will end with this - if you want to see Norway, then this is the place to go."
"The room was clean and well maintained. The shared washrooms were also very clean. There is also a faucet and sink in the room as well. The staff was helpful as well. The breakfast in general is excellent.
This is one of very few possible stays in Rosendal. As Rosendal is a small town, it was expected that the hotel is less polished. But the hotel is very clean from the inside. However, there will be bugs (flies/gnatts) in the summer.
Don't know if it is a good or bad thing. There were signs saying "This hotel is for sale" during my visit."
