With a great location being so close to the airport I stayed 3 nights at Angkul and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. With the option for breakfast,a beautiful pool, walking distance to the beach and incredibly hospitable staff, I would highly recommend this place!

Our check in was smooth and very polite. We booked this as a day room because of a late flight. It was walking distance from the beach, restaurants and mall- then a quick 27,000IDR ride to the airport. Room was very minimal- but big bed to rest and excellent hot shower before traveling.

The staff are all polite and warm. They are always ready to assist. The property is modern, always well kept, and cleaned by the staff. Shops are accessible from the hotel. Pool is clean. I will definitely stay there again next time.

Ok for an overnight pit stop.

Hotel is small and looks nice. Well located: 5 minute taxi from the airport (by car; 15 mins by foot); 5 mins walk from Jerman beach. Rooms were simple but clean, comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. However it loses points for noise - all rooms are situated around the open courtyard with pool, and there was a group of people chatting and laughing into the early hours of the morning and the sound just carried. Very disturbing. Our room was also on the main road, so noise from both sides! Luckily we were jet lagged and exhausted so eventually slept. Breakfast is also a bit basic. Price was cheap, so it’s fine for a night if you’re catching a flight but not for an extended stay.
