"Best resort we've ever stayed at. The service was outstanding. Every staff member was kind and welcoming. On-site dining offers great variety; we tried traditional Balinese food at Wok Wok, and the servers were happy to guide us through the menu. The quiet pool is peaceful, and the grounds are immaculate, with lush, varied foliage and a team you can see working constantly to keep everything in top shape. The all-you-can-eat à la carte breakfast is a highlight: lots of options, fresh food and attentive service. The one downside is the beach. The resort is beachfront, but the water isn't great for swimming and there's a fair amount of trash on the sand. That said, there's so much to enjoy on the property that you won't miss it unless a swimmable beach is a priority for you."

"Everything was top-tier. The people that work there were super friendly, they loved their management, and that reflects a lot on how the people treat their customers. The property was beautiful and prices were super reasonable. The shops next to the area were top-tier as well. One of the best sushi spots next door, tons of massage places, and there are al lot of shops you can walk to nearby. Oh my gosh, the rooms too were so beautiful, it’s hard to leave. Thanks Guys 10/10 would change nothing!"

"The Maya is in a very good position on the Sanur beach front. The resort however is a bit tired looking and pool area lounges, towels and other furniture and equipment are old and torn. The pool at the top end around rooms 101 - 105 was poorly maintained and cleaned only occasionally by an above ground pump. The shining light was Rue restaurant on the street side of the resort. The food was excellent, the staff were great (in particular Angel) and the whole place was clean and had a great vibe."
