"Great breakfast always freshly cooked and a good variety of dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful gave me an early check in and stored my luggage before I moved to next hotel allowing me to do a short day hike on the michinoku trail. The only nearby convenience store is in Kesennuma station. There is a great katsu place on the station courtyard. Please order a proper meal there and pay cash. If you are in a group make a reservation as it gets quite crowded."

"Great breakfast Helpful staff when I asked about luggage forwarding. Nice public bath Big supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby Sanriku Brewery Tap Room across the road and towards the station was friendly with good beer and snacks"

"Brand new property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians. Value for money hotel. Only problem is that the food does not have ingredient content display in English, thus with staff knowing only Japanese, very difficult to just choose any food."
