The open design of the living room, dining area, and well equipped kitchen has breath taking views of the Atlantic. Sip your coffee out on the oceanfront deck and watch the sunrise as the waves roll in. Relax in the living room with the comfortable layout and furniture (the sofas is a pullout bed) and flat screen TV. The main bedroom features a Queen bed, mounted TV, private en suite bathroom, and access to the oceanfront deck. The 2nd bedroom has 2 Twin beds, utilizing the additional full bathroom in the hallway.

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, and cornhole. Ocean Dunes is located on the southern tip of the Island where you can find the unique coquina rocks that bubble up with fresh water. There is plenty of room for soaking up the sun or swimming in the cool waters. Take a stroll along the shore to see what treasures you can find using the private beach access.

If you are visiting for the first time make sure you schedule a day at the NC Aquarium, or the Civil War Museum. Available Ferry Rides schedules time for you to visit the quaint little Ocean front town of Southport, where you will find little shops and plenty of antique stores. From Memorial Day to Labor Day bring the kids and drive up to Carolina Beach Boardwalk for rides, games and the famous Britt's Donuts, watch the fireworks on Thursday nights or the Free movie at the lake on Sunday nights. *Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
