I travel quite a bit for work and prefer to stay in different hotels out of curiosity and desire to explore new neighborhoods. Of the 10 NYC hotels I’ve stayed at in the past 12 months. This was my favorite. The rooms are large and thoughtfully designed for travel (there are actual shelves and drawers in the bathroom). Every member of the staff I encountered was happy, kind and easy to work with. The restaurant options were fantastic (I actually ate there more than once which I never do). I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
Oh and the gym is also a good size and well stocked. Also a rarity in NY

My room was very quiet and I enjoyed having the kitchen amenities and the balcony. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. I enjoyed my stay, but won’t probably return to this resort.
