Small, but comfortable, and located a few steps from the heart of Nathan Road shopping and transportation stops. Not posh, but pleasant. The hustle and bustle of street hawkers and small shops can be intimidating, but is also endlessly fascinating. Kowloon Park is just across the street, and a beautiful, relaxing counterpoint to the hustle of the city. A little tricky to find at first, but go in the main entrance and walk past the first bank of lifts to the Block B elevators. The one your right will go to floor 5. Enjoy!

Unusual surroundings, but a nice place to stay
Great place and Simon is excellent. The environment is... different. But, as he told me when I checked in, I did get used to it after a few days. But the hotel is clean and has what you need. Worth the price!

Simon was extremely accommodating and very generous. The rooms are typical of Hong Kong guesthouse - small - but this was clean with good lighting, TV, updated interior. I couldn’t say more nice things about Simon as he checked us in late at night and was there to help with questions and assistance we needed. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for the basics at an exceptional value.

The location is good, one bus can direct to airport, and also near to ferry terminal, only the lift service is slow.

Nice location but room was changed on arrival
The guy who met to hand over the room was terrible and intimidating. He gave a different room in a location way interior. When I asked for the room I had reserved, he gave me a look which meant "do not mess with me"!!! I would not recommend anyone to this hotel because they use intimidating tactics with the foreigners.

Excellent Value!
This was an excellent value for the money paid. The room was very clean and Simon was excellent. You are in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui right next to the MRT. Ignore the people in the entrance and leave time for waiting or elevator or use stairs, particularly when going down.

Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Simon very nice! Chung King Mansion is a big big building with a dodgy reputation. But the guesthouse which is on floor 5 is 100% fine.

Great place to stay in Hong Kong city
The hostel inside is clean and safe, with a very polite and caretaking owner, Simon. Also the location is great - just a short walk away from the Star Ferries and next to the building is a MTR station - as also several 7/11 and the iSquare mall. The place is arranged very convenient with object for the daily use, as water dispenser for hot and cold water at the entrance area, as also a fridge, a TV and WiFi in the rooms

Ogólne wrażenie lepsze niż pierwsze
Chungking Mansions to miejsce o wątpliwej reputacji (odsyłam do Wikipedii), ale nie ma czego się obawiać, przynajmniej jeśli chodzi o bezpieczeństwo. Najpoważniejszą uciążliwością są kolejki do windy, a wejście na 5.piętro niewiarygodnie brudną klatką schodową jest męczące i nieprzyjemne. W kompleksie są dziesiątki, jeśli nie setki takich guesthouse'ów o różnym standardzie i cenie. Guangdong Guest House nie jest wśród nich najtańszy, ale wart polecenia ze względu na czystość i względny komfort pokoju. Zaletą jest również lokalizacja w pobliżu linii metra, dwa przystanki od Central Station, i nabrzeża dzielicy Tsim Sha Tsui.

Located in the Chungking Manison, you have to pass quite many active sellers every time you go in and out of the building to reach your room. The owner is extremely nice and helpful, and it was very appreciated to have such a contact during our stay in Hong Kong. Regarding the room it was very small, not suitable for anything else but sleeping. The room was equipped with AC.

un très bon hotel.
les hôtels sont en adéquation avec la forte population à Hong Kong. L'hôtel est placé dans le chunking mansion mêlant brouhaha. vendeurs de téléphones et autres plats indiens. le site est archi sécurisé. beaucoup de caméra et de monde. un hôtel pas cher, bien entretenu, avec un gérant très aimable et serviable. A conseiller pour les petits séjour à petit prix. Situé dans la rue très fréquenté de Nathan Road et à proximité de l'avenue des stars.

環境 整潔 需要在加強，浴室的冷熱水，不是很冷就是很燙，不好調節溫度，此飯店並沒有提供毛巾，牙刷 ，牙膏，覺得需要改善。服務的部分算是還可以，其他硬體設備需要加強。

Der Vermieter "Simon" ist top. Hilft weiter und ist sehr nett. Die Lage ist auch 1a. Direkte Lage, alles schnell zu erreichen. Bei den Zimmern darf man aber nicht zuviel erwarten. Es steht ein 1,40 Meter auf 2,00 Meter Bett im Raum, dann ist sind noch 1,5 Meter Platz zur Türe, das war es. Jedes Zimmer hat noch eine Nische mit Dusche/WC/Waschbecken. Auch so 1 Meter auf 1 Meter. ;) Im Zimmer ist es relativ ruhig, kann gut übernachten. Im Dezember war es etwas frisch, da die Fenster recht zugig sind. Man sollte schauen, das man nicht in das erste Zimmer direkt am Empfang kommt, hier riecht es wie in der Inderküche (Direkt daneben) *g* Zum Übernachten aber ok und für den Preis voll in Ordnung. Ich würde es mir trotzdem nicht mehr antun direkt nach dem langen Flug da einzukehren. ;)

NIce location but very small rooms
We booked a four bed room for three adults. Unfortunately the four bed room is a room with two 140cm beds. So I think one can't call it a four bed room. Furthermore the room is very small, due it is not comfortable to 'chill' in the room. Simon, the owner is very nice a he really cares about his hostel. By comparison the hostel is very clean and in a top location, but the house, in which the hostel is located is a bit of scary: In the stairway there are some junkies and downstairs is a market hall.
