"The hotel is a located inside a converted house. Everything looks very traditional, complete with low ceilings, sliding doors, mat covered floors and futons. The dorm slept four, which I though was tight, but it seems to work well enough that I slept quite well both nights. My futon had two layers and although I like a firm mattress, I did think it was quite sore on my back the 1st night. Common areas include the kitchen, cafe and lounge. "Most excellent stay with impeccable hospitality. The hotel master provided us with superb dinner each day (even though I did not reserve dinner for the first night). Super worth the stay to explore kamikochi really early the next morning."

"ゆっくりできました。入り口に自転車もあり、借りられるのも、手頃な料金も、良かったです。外食でなく、ＪＡなどで、新鮮な地元の食材を使って、レンジ調理など簡単調理をして楽しめば良かったと思いました。なにより、涼しく居心地が良かったです。いつでも、コーヒーやお茶が用意してあるのも嬉しかったです。"
