"The experience was exceptional and impressive. Though the transport was relatively less attractive, the environment, facilities, size of room, services and cleanliness worth the extra travel time. Overall, the stay was superb! We enjoyed a lot!"
"Cute and lovely little hotel! Comfortable accomodations, and the owner even drove us to the train station in the morning for free. Thank you so much!"
"What a great hotel! Clean comfortable rooms in a lovely setting, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the welcoming, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The bar was cozy and featured amazing cocktails - the gin & tonic with "forest" syrup was my favorite (so much so that I bought a bottle of the syrup to bring home). Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and hope to visit again someday!"

"Staff were all lovely, and very willing to help. They understood English very well and we're able to communicate to a good standard. The hotel is a brief walk from the Karuizawa train station, so it is in a desirable location for weary travellers. The room and bedding are comfortable, and an average size. The only negative I have is the use of keys for your room door. An upgrade to key cards would be something to consider for the future, and may also stop the need for handing in your key each time you exit the building (which I'm guessing is because of the key cutting service close by?)"
"Good price for a clean hotel that was near the train station and the outlet mall. Pretty good breakfast included. Staff are very friendly and helpful. "
"We had the japanese western style room which comes with a small Japanese dining area which was very useful. The toilet has a bathtub and the shower head with a mid high stool useful for elderly and pregnant women.
Appreciate that the toilet bowl is separated from the bathroom. The beds were really comfy and has beady pillows. The blanket was very cushy.
There's a delicia supermarket 15mins by foot. And lots of home run restaurants within 10mins by foot.
Love that L2 there's a common area where you could bring your own food to microwave.
However, would be better if they could place a basket containing water, towels even if a do not disturb sign is being put up."
