"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. Samaria Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff at this hotel are the best! They helped with parking my rental car, arranging for taxi, and making my stay absolutely stress and hassle free. The room was fantastic - great views, double shower is a major convenience when sharing with a partner and a lovely balcony too. Highly recommended!"

Hyperion City Hotel

"The hotel was newer but already had some wear and tear in the rooms with stains on the chairs and curtains. It overall was nice though- with amenities more similar to US hotels. The room had thin walls and we could hear guests next to us watch tv and pull items into the outlet. The breakfast was lovely. Great variety and fresh. Pool was nice and often not being used. It was a good location with a view of the water. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the parking garage which we weren’t able to use for our 5 night stay. They said you have to make a reservation and it was unavailable, but you can’t make a reservation until you get there. The front desk person laughed at me when I asked. We were able to find street parking easily most days but it was much harder in the evenings. The spa was okay. It seems like you can make a reservation online but you can’t. You have to call or talk to the staff when you arrive and then prepay. It was the lightest massage I’ve ever had even after asking for deeper pressure."

"We stayed for 2 weeks and it was great. Only thing to watch out for is if you plan to rent a car. Garage is pretty tight entering and exiting the hotel can be challenging. Lots of scrapes on the bottom of my rental due to steep ramps. Other than that, staff was friendly, they know English, comfortable beds, great and well priced onsite restaurant, and a decent view."

"Great stay at Hotel Kriti! The hotel and room were clean, breakfast was yummy, and the staff was wonderful. The pool was nice, too - a good place to relax and cool off. The location was good - beach, Old Town, and the harbor all within walking range. The room was very quiet - almost seemed soundproof. Would definitely stay at Hotel Kriti again."

"The property is located on a sandy beach with a beautiful view. The hotel is about 15 minutes taxi ride from the harbour and old town. The staff were helpful. I stayed two nights but a longer stay would have been relaxing. I booked a loft room which was in two floors and I never used the top floor because of the stairs so we were in the room downstairs and the set up of the room was in a way the handwash basin was in the room and not in the toilet so took some space."

Euphoria Resort - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"All inclusive and very chill. Food in main resteraunt in my opinion was very good, though some of the resteraunt dinning experiences were lack luster and would not do again. Very good for families though would be.nicer if had a program for children. At this point would recommend, though construction is a bit poor and in a few years may be run down. Had ants on balcony on third floor coming from crack in structure, and saw lots of little deterioration of the property."
