"Serena is expensive but it’s a great spot to “land” when you come to Kampala. The grounds are fantastic, the pool is excellent, and the service is great. Centrally located, high security - a great place to stay when you’re in Kampala. "

"Checkin is 2-3pm, not 11am as per Expedia. Too conservative on resources, water dispensers are switched off, a/c is off in some rooms like gym, bathrooms didn’t smell good or fresh, etc Price was decent though considering alternatives. "

"My was mess and I will never stay again the property, electricity was on off, dust, noisy and I sent you email the first day but no answer "

"The restaurant Revive is the high and acts as the lobby mainly because the internet service is so poor in the ooms and garden. I am told they are fixing it, but seriously 2036, it should have been modernized 4 years ago. The rooms need attention.the tile floors need to be polished. They advertise desk in room but it is shelf not a work height with no powerpoint. So it is Not a desk. Did not get daily room service as advertised, maybe i had to ask. Lastly the shower head did not fit in the overhead holder. So it had to be used with one hand Despite above it is a very pleasant, reasonably priced well located hotel in Kololo. I hope they put attention to rooms as they the restaurant."

"Reception staff were very friendly and courteous. Wait staff, although there always many around, paid little attention to customers. Food quality was okay, but key items (like cheese) were sometimes unavailable making many dishes unavailable. Food and drinks were delivered exceedingly slowly. Getting a Coke Zero & burger for dinner was a two hour event. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, but there were only two bath towels and no hand towels. When I asked for one I was given a washcloth that was not replaced the next day. On my last day a bath mat appeared. Breakfast buffet had many options but little was fresh. A little more attention to detail, especially around food and beverage service would be great."
