Perfect getaway

Everything at Coco Cottage was so well thought out and even better than I could have imagined. Hosts were communicative and responsive and we had the most relaxing time.

One of the Best

We have rented vacation homes all over the world and this was one of the best. It’s located in a touristy area, but is tucked away and private. Everything was extremely clean and well-appointed. Just up the street from Brenneke’s beach where dozens of sea turtles swam in every night to rest.

This property is beautiful and so close to the beach. Just a short walk. The inside of the house is impeccably done and everything you need is there. The beds were very comfy and the vibe is pure aloha. We definitely would stay there again. Mahalo

The Perfect Stay

Just imagine a rainy afternoon on Kauai, sitting on a lanai overlooking a lush, green and orchid filled backyard, reading your book. When the rain stops you walk a block to the beach and see the sunset over the turtles. Fresh Mahi Mahi and a Mai tai at Brennecke’s, and settle into your comfortable bed with en-suite baths Perfect stay.

Charming and well-equipped cottage very convenient to Poipu Beach Park.

This is a gem of a property! Spacious, bright, airy, great common areas, incredibly well-equipped kitchen. Layout worked well for our family of two couples. Communication with the owners was excellent. Two fabulous beaches, and lounging sea turtles, are an easy walk away; glorious sunsets a block down the road. I recommend it enthusiastically!

Perfect stay in Poipu

Coco Cottage is an upscale property in Poipu and we highly recommend. Ate dinner every night on the lanai with Hawaiian music playing. Also, it is located next to the best beaches which we throughly enjoyed.

Great Place to Stay

Fantastic Hawaiian Cottage

Coco Cottage was exactly as described and everything we expected. The cottage is clean, thoughtfully furnished, and well maintained. The location is superb; it’s a short walk to fantastic beaches. The highlight of our South Shore vacation was boogie-boarding at Brennecke’s Beach, snorkeling, and seeing the turtles and seals resting on the shore of Poʻipū Beach.

Coco Cottage is Fantastic!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Coco Cottage! Location is great. So close to Poipu Beach. Walk to the end of the block and watch the sunset. House had everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely come back!

Joan and Rick have thought of everything! The house is beautiful with amazing finishes. This is our 14th time to Kauai and hands down Coco Cottage is the nicest property we have rented. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay

This home was exactly as described and more! It had everything you would need for a vacation. It was incredibly clean. The beds were SO comfortable! The home is literally a 30 second walk from the beach and close enough to walk to many restaurants and morning coffee. The street is extremely quiet. We loved our stay here and appreciated all the added details that Joan and Bob provided.

This is our second time at coco cottage and we hope to be back again and again. Everything one could wish for has been anticipated and is present. The house is lovely and the location perfect. It is always hard to go home to the ice and snow of February

Live like a local!

We loved our stay at beautiful Coco Cottage. We almost felt like locals! The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware and utensils you need to dine in. The beds are super comfortable. We ate breakfast every morning on the back-covered patio and it was a wonderful way to start the day. The water is mere steps away and the Poipu Beach is a short walk away. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals and Coco Cottage is our all time favorite!

Perfect beach house in Kauai

This was our second time staying at Coco Cottage. We love the house! It is perfect for a family of four and close to Poipu and Brennecke beaches. The kitchen is fully equipped so we could make meals easily. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast each morning on the lanai. Beds are extremely comfortable. The house is clean, well maintained, and stays cool with the cross breeze and air conditioning in the bedrooms. We loved are stay and will definitely stay again if we are back in Kauai.

Beautiful home, great location

This was a beautiful home! It far exceeded any expectations we had (surprisingly the pictures don’t fully capture how massively spacious it is) and it had an amazing, huge lanai and backyard, which we fully enjoy. That yard was so lush and pristine. The home has been restored beautifully, the kitchen was fully equipped and the AC in the bedrooms was a definite plus. There was even a big wagon to use to haul everything to the beach. Lovely home in a lovely location.

Perfect home away from home

From the moment we walked in we felt at home. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of island goodies. The kitchen was the most well stocked rental in terms of dishes and tools, we were able to make everything we wanted. We loved having everything we needed for the beach. We ended up renting boogie boards at a place near Poipu beach. The rooms were very comfortable. I slept the best I have ever slept away from home. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Great location and awesome house for relaxing

Rick was very kind to let us stay at his property in August and we very much enjoyed our stay there. The house is really cozy and perfect for what we are looking for which is to relax while at the same time having close access to the Beach (Poipu Beach). We spent mornings and evenings hanging out in the Lanai which is really nice. Rick also gave us some really yummy mangoes (it was mangoes season) right from the tree in the backyard. Mahalo Rick and we hope that we'll get to stay at your property again next year.

Amazing House

The house was impeccably clean and welcoming. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were open and bright and inviting. Each of the two bedrooms had a full attached bath. Thus, it was perfect for two couples. The back porch was one of the best parts of the house; we enjoyed sitting there in the morning with our coffee and enjoyed using the space throughout the day. Five minute walk to the beaches and a few minutes more to places to eat, such as Brennecke's Beach Broiler.
