Great stay overall. The hotel itself is clean, efficient, and the check-in process is extremely easy, exactly what you’d expect in Japan. Where this place really shines is the location. If you want a true taste of city life (being out late, surrounded by restaurants, nightlife, and constant energy) this is peak. You can step outside and immediately be in the middle of everything. Rooms are on the smaller side (typical for Japan), but the bed is surprisingly wide and comfortable, making it perfectly suitable for a trip where you’re mostly out exploring and just need a solid place to recharge. That said, if you’re looking for a hotel as a destination in itself (spacious, relaxing, and somewhere you plan to spend a lot of time) this probably isn’t the right fit. It’s much better suited for a younger, nightlife-oriented crowd who plans to be out and about. Overall, great value and ideal for experiencing the city.

Everything was wonderful and clean.

Most restaurants open till midnight. Easy and fast transportation to Tokyo. Just beware of people on the street keep asking and harassing you to take the service they provide especially at night time.

The hotel was great. I had a room on the 13th floor where I had a great view but there was a very loud noise that looped at night. Loud enough that ear plugs didn’t work. It looped every evening for the entire stay and while not the fault of the hotel I would have liked to be notified there was external noise in my booking

Mitsui Garden is a chain hotel with many in the area. We tried this one because of the location in relationship to where our friends were staying. It is also really close to the Higashi-Ginza stop of the Hibiya line and an 8-10min walk to the Ginza line. There is an elevator across the street to get down to the trains, otherwise it is a lot of stairs. The hotel staff was amazing and helpful. Laundry was challenging seeing as they only have 3 machines and I think 14 floors of rooms. It only took coins, paypay, transit cards. I used my Suica card. It did not take credit card. You could watch a pretty accurate update on the machine availability on the tv in your room. WiFi was not very good in the evenings. I think too many people were on it. The room itself was spacious and comfortably fit our three pieces of luggage, two carry-ons, and two people. They had an in room fridge which was helpful and provided bottle water everyday. Overall it was a great experience and we would stay here again.
