"Beautiful hotel on a picturesque lagoon"
We stayed at this resort for 3 nights. The hotel property itself is gorgeous, with a wide-open lobby, expansive grounds, and nice landscaping. There was just one pool, but being somewhat amoeba-shaped, it's a really good size and had several entry points. We didn't ask, but think it was heated as we swam in it at night and it was like bath water. One of my favorite parts about the resort is the protected lagoon. Great for young kids and paddle boarders. The snorkeling was great, too, and you didn't even have to venture out of the lagoon. But if you do, you'll see more fish and 3 protected green sea turtles eating just below you. They live at the property, sunning themselves on the banks right along the shoreline. Very cool to see. The resort amenities are great, including 2x a day housekeeping, complimentary bottles of water each night, a full beach shack on the beach with sun shirts, suntan lotion, rafts, etc. and free shuttle service within the village (which includes a shopping plaza at the end of the road). We had a full agenda of activities so we never had a sit-down breakfast, but ate at Brown's every day. It's a great stop for breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, granola, pastries and good coffee. We ate dinner at Brown's Beach Shack for a wonderful and delicious fine dining experience along the ocean's edge watching the sun set. Overall, it was one of the best stays we've had at a resort. It's also next to a beautiful golf course.
