Great bed, excellent water pressure in the walk-in shower, quiet AC, and a nice balcony with great views of Ksamil islands. A short walk to the beach and dozens of restaurants all around. "Hotel Luxury Perhaps the greatest chapter of the trip was our stay at Hotel Luxury. If Ksamil was the poem, this hotel was the refrain we returned to. From the moment we arrived, there was kindness. A porter carried our bags, and politely refused tips. The receptionist, a gracious woman, took time to talk us through every nearby beach, hotel amenities, restaurant options; when I offered a tip, she demurred, saying “it is too much.” Our room was a two-bedroom unit, large and spotless; each bedroom had its own decent-sized bathroom. The view from our balcony was incredible, sea stretching out to the horizon, sunrises waking me through whispering waves. Service was consistent and heartfelt. Staff asked about our moods, health, what we needed. Breakfast felt like visiting my grandmother after a long time away—fresh, handmade, plentiful. In the afternoon, the little luxuries: pistachio ice cream that melted on the tongue, a cooling double espresso, or a café latte made with imported beans. Small graces that felt grand. What touched me most was knowing that this hotel was run like a family. Brothers Eltim and Ronaldo, and their sister (whose name I sadly never asked), are clearly the soul of the place. Their staff stay for years; there’s loyalty, care. At the end of our stay, they surprised me with beautiful gifts—local wine, Ksamil souvenirs, handmade olive oil—wordsless thanks for my small generosity. I left not just content, but deeply grateful."

"I stayed at San Angelo Hotel with my friend Daniella and we had such a fantastic experience. From the start, the staff were so accommodating and always ready to help with anything we needed. Obed and Samuel looked after us brilliantly at mealtimes, and Joseph was especially kind and accommodating to Daniella, he really looked out for her and made sure she was comfortable throughout our stay. Helen and Caroline on reception were so friendly and gave us excellent recommendations, while Sule and Victoria kept our room spotless and always greeted us warmly. What really touched us was the free lift to the Sarandë bus station at the end of our stay, such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about their guests. Sarandë itself is absolutely beautiful, and this hotel made our time there even more special. We truly felt at home, and I’d highly recommend San Angelo Hotel to anyone visiting."

"We came originally for a friend’s wedding in Tirana, but decided to do a little vacation for ourselves, since we came to Albania. The drive was spectacular, Albania and the roads scenery are absolutely gorgeous. However since it’s our first time in Albania we noticed that a lot of buildings were unfinished throughout the country. We were pleasantly surprised that Sarande Palace was an exception, the building is situated towards the end of the boulevard which gives the most beautiful sunset view and quietness, as the busy section of Sarande is very noisy. Ory - the receptionist went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and perfect. She seriously runs the place and cares for the service they provide to guests. Ory gave us tips and recommendations for pretty much anything we asked, she even offered laundry and dry cleaning services if needed. The pool was clean and big, they have plenty of beds and cabanas available for guests in the beach area. The restaurant and the bars provided very good food and cocktails. The service was on a high level and the prices were competitive. The view from room balcony was spectacular. The rooms were clean, updated and thoughtfully furnished. If you are going to Sarande book this hotel, it’s worth every penny and you would have an amazing time and beautiful memories. Five stars hands down. Thank you, Ory and Sarande Palace team. "
