Having the Onsen on the roof with a partial outdoor setup was a unique experience. The breakfast was excellent and opens early to allow for an early start to touring.
Really loved the location, in Chinatown, but still felt quiet. Close to stations, but we walked around a lot and found the location centralize to Kobe's sites. Free noodles at end of night was a really nice touch.
We stayed at Dormy Inn for two nights, There’s a free onsen with free ice cream, it’s was wonderful , we loved massage chair, we definitely will return.
This was an awesome hotel all around. Nice, clean, and comfortable room, excellent location for food, shopping, and touring, and outstanding amenities including a top notch rooftop hot springs, massage chairs, and many high quality snacks. The staff was amazing and the price quite reasonable. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay here again.
An excellent hotel without paying a fortune. Plenty of space in the room; nice decor; well thought out. Good Onsen on top floor. Plenty of dining options within surrounding areas. JR Station nearby.
This was my second Dormy Inn stay in my vacation and just like the first one, it did not dissappoint. The facilities are top notch, the staff is polite and helpful. With chinatown on your doorstep and the harbour area only a few minute walk away, I would gladly return time and time again.
A very convenient location, right on the very edge of Kobe Chinatown, which is parallel to a long outdoor shopping mall. The hot water onsen part is small but sufficient. Free washers on site and dryers are very cheap. You can store your luggage if early or after checking out to explore the grounds. The staff spoke English and were friendly. My wife was amazed thst this place was only about $100 a night to stay in. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. It's a nice place to stay and I recommend it!
I decided to stay in Kobe for 2 extra nights. My original hotel was booked so I stayed at this Dormy. The room was nicer than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the public bath as I read in the check-in info that they do not allow tattoos (which was disappointing), so be aware of that. I did get to partake in the free late night ramen and icecream snacks which is a nice touch. Most importantly, it was clean and the location is pretty great for being close to attractions.
Hot spring and relaxing room on top floor was absolutely great.
There are some tooth paste stain on the wall above the sink in my room, otherwise, very clean throughout.
Would recommend for sure
